The RT120 was designed based on the need to characterize surface roughness and micro-profiles in parts, including complex geometries, using a single device, thanks to the RT120 “all-in-one” concept and the Profile Studio analysis software. The Profile Studio software was developed to be extremely easy for the operator to use.
All functions required for profile and roughness characterization are available in the right-hand toolbar and are organized into categories, each with a different color. New dimensions and roughness analyses can be added to the same profile and displayed on the same screen, allowing the operator to perform a complete part analysis with a single measurement. Thanks to the auto-comparison function, it is possible to reconstruct all dimensions and geometric tolerances of a reference profile on a new profile, thus saving time in series inspection.
Roughness parameters are calculated according to the latest standards such as ISO 4287, ISO 13565-1 and -2, ISO 12085, and VDA 2007, for a total of 70 calculated parameters.
