R100 - All-in-One Roundness Tester

The R100, based on an “all-in-one” concept, is immediately operational with only a few steps and allows characterization of all circular geometries, including complex ones, present in a part. The device is supported by Circom software, which was designed to be extremely easy to use, enabling an operator to be trained in a short period of time, reducing training and testing costs.

 

The software allows the analysis of the following geometric tolerances: roundness, straightness, cylindricity, taper, cone form, concentricity, parallelism, coaxiality, total runout, and thickness variation. For complex surfaces where gaps are present, Circom is capable of automatically removing them, or the operator can intervene manually by eliminating inconsistent profile sections.

 

Additional integration packages can be added to the basic application, such as harmonic analysis, which—through FFT algorithms—allows analysis of each sinusoidal component of the measured profile, essential for applications involving bearings.

The PGS200 profilometer is a new-generation instrument capable of performing a few simple operations to characterize the profile of complex parts, thanks to its modern “all-in-one” logic. With only a few steps, it is immediately ready and calibrated for measurement. The Profile Studio software installed in the PGS200 was designed to be extremely easy for the operator to use.

 

The functions required for profile characterization are grouped into categories (points, lines, arcs, dimensions), each with a different color for easy identification. The CAD system is highly advanced: all elements are dynamic and can be edited after being created. For more complex parts, the PGS200 allows measurement cycles to be executed, meaning obstacles are automatically bypassed (slots, shoulder features), and the profile is reconstructed at the end of the measurement.

RT90G - Graphical Pocket Roughness Tester

The RT90G roughness tester is unique in its category because it includes a built-in calculation unit and measurement procedure, making it the first “all-in-one” roughness tester. Extremely compact and easy to handle, it also allows convenient positioning on large parts thanks to its integrated 100 mm micrometric adjustment.

 

Its bright 3.7” color touchscreen, combined with an icon-based interface, allows the operator to set measurement parameters, move across the part, and perform analysis quickly. The obtained results and related tolerances are displayed immediately and can be downloaded to a PC or printed using an external printer. The internal reference also allows analysis of waviness (W) parameters, while the bi-stable support enables measurement with a simple gesture, with or without skid, depending on requirements.
