The Moticam A5 is a digital camera designed for microscopy applications, offering an ideal balance of resolution, speed, and image quality. It features a 5-megapixel sCMOS sensor capable of capturing detailed images at a resolution of up to 2592 × 1944 pixels, allowing samples to be clearly documented in educational, clinical, and research environments.

 

The camera connects to a computer via USB 2.0, enabling real-time image and video viewing at up to 30 frames per second. This provides smooth observation during microscopic sample analysis. In addition, its 1/2.8” sensor with 2 µm pixels improves the sensitivity and detail of captured images.

 

The Moticam A5 is compatible with MotiConnect software, which allows users to capture images and video, perform measurements, adjust image parameters, and calibrate objectives for more accurate analysis. It also supports TWAIN, SDK, and DirectShow drivers, facilitating integration with different microscopy analysis platforms.

 

Thanks to its C-Mount, this camera can be easily adapted to a wide variety of microscopes, converting traditional equipment into digital observation and documentation systems. The package includes a 12 mm focusing lens, 30 mm and 38 mm eyepiece adapters, USB cable, and calibration accessories for easy installation and immediate use in the laboratory.
